Container support does not guarantee codec support. If a file does not import cleanly, send the camera model, file extension, codec, and a short sample to support@kino.ai.

HEIC files are converted to JPEG in your browser before upload. iPhone “Live Photo” motion data is not preserved. Only the still image is kept. HDR tone mapping is also not carried over.
Camera RAW
Blackmagic RAW (.braw) is supported. Other camera RAW formats, including RED RAW (.r3d), ARRI RAW, and Canon Cinema RAW Light, are not currently part of the standard upload path.
